Description

Infuse your body with nutrients with a whole fruit smoothie. Whole fruit smoothies have all their parts intact, nothing is extracted and left out (except the inedible peel).  It is exactly what is needed to best absorb all the phytonutrients and antioxidants. I made this delicious smoothie today in a flash, easy nutrition in a glass.

Ingredients

Units Scale

2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
4 cups pineapple, cubed
2 oranges, peeled
1 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and grated
2 handfuls of baby spinach, rinsed
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 cup water

Instructions

1. Place all the ingredients in a blender, or preferably a Vitamix.  Blend until smooth.  Keep the extra in a mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Notes

Using a Vitamix blender makes things even easier!  No need to peel and grate the ginger or cut up pineapple. Just toss it all in and blend to perfection.
