Zingy and springy, this is a refreshing smoothie full of beneficial nutrients.
Ingredients
1 cup coconut water
1 1/2 cups strawberries, fresh or frozen
1 grapefruit, peeled and chopped
1/2 medium cucumber peeled and chopped
1/4 cup fresh mint
1 small piece of fresh ginger (optional)
1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
Instructions
1. Place all the ingredients in a blender, starting with the coconut water, and blend until smooth. If you are not using frozen strawberries, you can add a few ice cubes.
