Description
This light smoothie is full of immune-building ingredients, great for fending off colds or when you are not feeling your best.
Ingredients
1 large carrot, peeled and chopped coarsely
1 navel orange, peeled and cut in half
½ lemon, peeled
1 slice of fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
2 dried, pitted dates
½ cup unsweetened plain yogurt
1 cup cold water
Instructions
Place all the ingredients in a Vitamix or blender (starting with liquid first) and blend for about a minute.
